RTX is seeking a Senior Materials Program Lead in Tucson, AZ to drive Materials & Process Engineering support for missile hardware programs. You will coordinate M&PE resources, participate in reviews, and ensure alignment with program milestones and cost targets.

The role requires a university degree with 5+ years’ experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to present data to large audiences. Onsite work and security clearance readiness are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) is required.
• Advanced degree in a related field is preferred.
• Experience in materials problem solving and technical standards is essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide M&PE support for program review boards and ensure alignment with deliverables.
• Lead trade studies to identify materials, properties, and processes.
• Document justifications for material choices and ensure schedules meet commitments.
• Mentor early career engineers and participate on Failure Investigation Teams.
