Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a dedicated Material Handler for our Houston distribution center. You will perform inbound/outbound, returns, and acquisitions operations, ensuring inventory accuracy, safety, and productivity while serving as a resource and trainer for teammates.

Responsibilities include RF scanner operation, WMS use, and accurate matching of item numbers and shipping docs. Candidates should be able to train others, maintain PIE certification, and support multiple departments as

Qualifications

• Must be able to accurately match numerical and alphanumeric information.
• Follow established safety, quality, and operational procedures.
• Maintain a safe work environment and properly lift/move merchandise.
• Willingness to learn warehouse systems and technologies (RF, WMS).
• Ability to train, coach, and mentor team members.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, inspect, stock, pick, pack, stage, and ship merchandise accurately and efficiently.
• Match item numbers, quantities, manifests, and shipping documentation with physical merchandise.
• Oversee inbound/outbound shipments, returns, acquisitions inventory, and vendor returns per policy.
• Operate RF scanners, WMS, and voice-picking systems.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through scanning, labeling, auditing, and discrepancy resolution.
• Cross-train to support multiple departments and assist trainers with PIE certification.
