Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a distribution center operator to handle inbound/outbound flows, returns, and acquisitions with a focus on accuracy and safety. You will use RF scanners and WMS to move merchandise efficiently and maintain inventory integrity across storage locations.

Essential duties include receiving, packing, staging, and shipping while ensuring documentation matches. The role supports peak volumes and requires adherence to safety standards and O’Reilly policies.

• Ability to match numerical and alphabetical information accurately.
• Follows established safety, quality, and operational procedures.
• Maintains a safe work environment while lifting and handling merchandise.
• Willing to learn warehouse systems, RF technology, and processes.
• Ability to work independently with limited direction.
• Ability to train and develop team members when assigned.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, inspect, sort, stock, pick, pack, stage, and ship merchandise accurately.
• Match item numbers, quantities, manifests, freight bills, and shipping docs with goods.
• Process inbound shipments, outbound orders, returns, acquisitions, and vendor returns per policy.
• Operate RF scanners, handhelds, voice-picking, and WMS tools as required.
• Store and retrieve merchandise from floors, shelves, racks, and reserve areas.
• Load/unload trailers, route trucks, and secure shipments to prevent damage.
