Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a distribution center associate to perform material handling duties that support inbound, outbound, returns, acquisitions inventory, and related DC operations in Houston.

You will process and move merchandise, maintain inventory accuracy, and adhere to safety, quality, and productivity standards while using RF scanners, WMS, and voice-picking systems. Applicants should have DC experience and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to accurately match numerical and alphabetical information.
• Follows established operational, safety, and quality procedures.
• Maintain safe work environment, including but not limited to safely lifting, moving, and handling merchandise.
• Willingness to learn warehouse systems, RF technology, and operational processes.
• Experience working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Prior experience handling automotive parts or related merchandise.
• Experience operating warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, or voice-picking equipment.
• Experience working within productivity, quality, or performance-driven environments.
• Proficiency in one or more additional languages.

Responsibilities

• Perform distribution center material handling duties supporting inbound, outbound, returns, and acquisitions operations.
• Process and move merchandise while maintaining inventory accuracy, productivity, quality, and safety.
• Operate RF scanners, WMS, and voice-picking systems as required.
• Store, pick, pack, stage, and ship merchandise ensuring proper documentation and labeling.
• Maintain compliance with safety and quality standards and report unsafe conditions.
