Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a distribution center operator in Salt Lake City to perform material handling across inbound, outbound, returns, and related operations. You will move merchandise, ensure inventory accuracy, and adhere to safety and quality standards.

The role requires operating RF scanners, WMS, and voice-picking systems, with emphasis on accuracy, productivity, and training teammates when assigned.

Qualifications

• Ability to accurately match numerical and alphabetical information.
• Follows established operational, safety, and quality procedures.
• Maintain safe work environment, including lifting and handling merchandise.
• Willingness to learn warehouse systems, RF technology, and processes.
• Ability to train team members when assigned.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, inspect, sort, stock, pick, pack, stage, and ship merchandise accurately.
• Match item numbers, quantities, manifests, freight bills, and shipping docs with physical merchandise.
• Process inbound/outbound shipments, returns, acquisitions inventory, and vendor returns per policy.
• Operate RF scanners, WMS, and voice-picking technology as required.
• Store and retrieve merchandise from floor locations and storage areas.
• Load/unload trailers and route trucks while ensuring merchandise safety.
