Job summary

Smart Care Equipment Solutions is seeking a Master Service Technician to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair a wide range of commercial kitchen equipment including ovens, fryers, steamers, griddles, dishwashers, ice machines, and walk-in coolers. The role requires extensive hands-on field service, the ability to work independently, and readiness for an on-call rotation with occasional overnight travel.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least 2 years of technical experience in refrigeration, appliance repair, commercial kitchen equipment, HVAC, or a related field.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial cooking, refrigeration, warewashing, and other foodservice equipment.
• Read wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals to diagnose complex equipment failures.
• Work directly with restaurant managers, hospitality customers, and other commercial clients to keep their equipment operating.
• Perform preventative maintenance and identify potential issues before they turn into expensive emergency calls.
• Keep accurate service records, work orders, time reporting, and parts documentation.
• Manage your service calls independently while maintaining productivity and customer satisfaction.
• Share knowledge with other technicians and provide troubleshooting assistance.
