Job summary

Smart Care Equipment Solutions is seeking a Commercial Kitchen Service Technician to install, diagnose and repair cooking, refrigeration, ware-washing and related equipment. You will partner with restaurant managers, read diagrams, and apply hands-on skills in a fast-paced field service role.

This full-time position requires a high school diploma, 1 year of technical experience, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to join on-call rotations and occasional overnight travel.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• About 1 year of technical experience with refrigeration, kitchen equipment, HVAC or related field.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to participate in on-call rotations.
• Willingness to travel occasionally and assist with on-site emergency coverage.

Responsibilities

• Repair, diagnose and install commercial kitchen equipment including cooking, refrigeration and ware-washing units.
• Read diagrams and schematics; troubleshoot with manufacturers as needed.
• Coordinate with customers and the Technical Assistance Group to complete work orders.
• Maintain neat vehicle, manage parts inventory and complete time reporting.
