Job summary

Smart Care Equipment Solutions is seeking a Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial kitchen equipment across customer sites, including restaurants, hotels, and healthcare facilities.

You will read wiring diagrams, troubleshoot refrigeration and cooking equipment, work with managers to understand issues, and manage your daily service schedule, including occasional overnight travel and after-hours on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year technical experience in refrigeration, appliance repair, kitchen equipment, HVAC, or military service.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• EPA or CFESA certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair commercial kitchen and food service equipment.
• Read wiring diagrams and schematics to diagnose problems.
• Work with restaurant and hospitality managers to understand equipment issues and recommend repairs.
• Manage your daily service schedule and complete work independently.
• Participate in an emergency on-call rotation that includes nights and weekends.
• Travel overnight occasionally when assigned.
