Job summary

Avis Budget Group in Charlotte, NC is hiring a Master Mechanic to diagnose and repair vehicles across brands. You will work on a diverse fleet, perform standard and complex repairs, including warranty work, with minimal supervision.

Requirements include at least 3 years of professional auto repair experience, current ASE certifications (minimum 3), and the ability to earn two more within the first year. This is an on-site role with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of professional auto repair experience.
• Current ASE certifications (minimum of 3).
• Ability to acquire 2 additional ASE certifications within the first year.
• Strong knowledge across ASE areas: Engine Repair, Drivetrain/Axles, Suspension/Steering, Brakes, Electrical, Heating/Air Conditioning.

Responsibilities

• Perform standard and complex automotive repairs across a wide range of makes and models with minimal supervision.
• Diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, exhaust, brakes, electrical, A/C, and onboard systems.
• Serve as a technical resource for other technicians and share best practices to support shop performance.
• Ensure vehicles are safe, reliable, and ready for customers to get on the road.
