Job summary

Avis Budget Group is seeking a Master Mechanic in the United States (NY area) to diagnose and repair vehicles across a wide range of makes and models. You will work on a diverse fleet with minimal supervision and may mentor other technicians.

On-site work with opportunities for advancement and comprehensive benefits. We value ASE-certified technicians with strong engine, drivetrain, and electrical knowledge, capable of handling warranty work and complex repairs.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver's license.
• Minimum 3 years of professional auto repair experience.
• Current ASE certifications (min 3) with ability to gain 2 more in first year.
• Strong knowledge across ASE areas: Engine, Drivetrain, Brakes, Electrical, HVAC, etc.

Responsibilities

• Perform standard and complex automotive repairs including warranty work across multiple brands.
• Diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical, HVAC, and onboard computer systems.
• Serve as a technical resource to other technicians and share best practices.
• Ensure vehicles are safe, reliable, and ready for customers.
