Job summary

Avis Budget Group in Charlotte, NC, is hiring a Master Mechanic to diagnose and repair vehicles across multiple brands. You’ll perform standard and complex repairs, including warranty work, with minimal supervision, ensuring safety and reliability so customers can get back on the road confidently.

You’ll mentor others, share best practices, and work in a busy shop environment. Must have ASE certifications (min 3), 3+ years of experience, valid US driver’s license, and your own toolkit; on-site

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of professional auto repair experience.
• Current ASE certifications (minimum of 3), with the ability to acquire 2 additional ASE certifications within the first year.
• Valid Driver’s License and legal authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Perform standard and complex automotive repairs, including warranty work, on a wide range of vehicle makes and models with minimal technical supervision.
• Diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, exhaust systems, brakes, electrical systems, air conditioning, and onboard computer systems.
• Serve as a technical resource for other technicians, providing guidance and sharing best practices to support shop performance.
