Job summary

Orion is seeking a seasoned marine construction supervisor to oversee ongoing projects in Mobile, Alabama. You will coordinate with the Project Superintendent, field engineers, and trades to keep work safe, on schedule, and within budget.

Responsibilities include planning activities, assigning crews, ensuring permits, inspecting equipment, enforcing health and safety policies, and training workers. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years marine construction supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of equipment used for marine operations, reading blueprints and diagrams.
• Experience coordinating multiple crafts (pile driving, crane operations, welding, carpentry, etc.).
• Supervisory experience and CPR/First Aid certification are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the completion of current marine construction projects.
• Plan and schedule work activities and assign crews.
• Monitor time schedules and ensure deadlines are met; obtain necessary permits.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental policies.
