Job summary

Celgard, LLC in Concord, NC seeks a Senior Manufacturing Technician for the Day Shift on a 12-hour, 2-2-3 schedule. The role reports to the Production Supervisor and covers 5:50am–6:00pm, with a 24/7 site that offers overtime and a $1000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or equivalent and 7+ years in plastics/film/battery manufacturing. Strong problem-solving, safety, and teamwork are essential as you support throughput and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in plastics, film, battery or polymer coating environments.
• Strong safety, quality and attendance commitment.
• Ability to operate and monitor multiple equipment pieces in a fast-paced setting.
• Effective verbal and written communication; ability to learn software and scanners.

Responsibilities

• Operate various film manufacturing and processing equipment including extruders, laminators, ovens, and coaters.
• Troubleshoot production problems and monitor instrument performance.
• Maintain safe, clean, and organized work environment per facility standards.
• Record key process data and interface with software programs for traceability and SPC.
• Perform routine inspections and participate in cross-functional teams; train others as needed.
• Support production throughput with data-driven improvements and adherence to GMP.
