Job summary

Celgard, LLC in Concord, NC is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Tech for the night shift. The role reports to the Production Supervisor and requires operating and monitoring complex film-manufacturing equipment in a 12-hour, 2-2-3 schedule while the plant runs 24/7.

Starting pay is $27.00 per hour with a night-shift differential and potential overtime. A $1,000 sign-on bonus is offered, with portions paid after 1 week and at 6 months.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of Industry Experience in a plastics, film, battery or polymer coating manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality and attendance.
• Ability to operate and monitor multiple pieces of equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate various types of industrial film manufacturing and processing equipment including Extruders, Laminators, Ovens, Deplyers, Slitters, Coaters, Mixers.
• Troubleshoot production problems or malfunctioning instruments.
• Maintain records and interface with multiple computer software programs for material transactions, traceability, process control, on-line inspection, testing, and SPC.
