Job summary

Celgard, LLC is seeking a Manufacturing Tech - Night Shift in Concord, NC, to join the production team. The role reports to the Production Supervisor and operates during 12-hour night shifts on a 2-2-3 schedule. The site runs 24/7 and offers a $23.00/hour starting pay with night shift differential and potential overtime.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 3 years in plastics/film manufacturing. Strong safety, reliability, and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of industry experience in plastics, film, or polymer coating manufacturing.
• Strong safety, quality, and attendance commitment.
• Ability to operate and monitor multiple pieces of equipment in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and sense of urgency.

Responsibilities

• Operate film manufacturing and processing equipment (Extruders, Laminators, Ovens, Slitters, Coaters, Mixers).
• Troubleshoot production problems or malfunctioning instruments.
• Maintain safe, clean, organized work environment and meet quality standards.
• Maintain records and interface with software for material transactions and process control.
• Train new and current employees as needed.
• Lead meetings and participate in cross-functional teams.
