Job summary

Silfex Inc., A Lam Research Company, is seeking a Team Lead / Manufacturing Technician 5 to operate, troubleshoot and optimize advanced semiconductor manufacturing equipment. You will mentor technicians, apply lean and 5S, and drive improvements to quality, safety and efficiency in a cleanroom environment.

You will read drawings, follow work instructions and participate in cross-functional operations, supporting 12‑hour shifts and continuous operation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; associate degree or technical cert preferred.
• Minimum 6 years of relevant work experience, with at least 4 years in manufacturing operating equipment and following contamination-control protocols.
• Hands-on experience handling hazardous chemicals and using PPE; cross-training in Shared Resources processes.

Responsibilities

• Operate machines that support the Silfex manufacturing and finishing processes.
• Apply lean manufacturing concepts and 5S; demonstrate ownership of continuous improvement ideas.
• Demonstrates mastery of all Shared Resources processes; troubleshoot complex issues and drive improvements.
• Support development and improvement of processes by applying advanced skills and techniques.
• Complete complex tasks using effective methods to support production goals.
• Record quality and production data in batch records, ERP systems and logs.
