Job summary

Silfex Inc., A Lam Research Company is seeking a Manufacturing Technician 2 to join our high-tech manufacturing team. You will operate advanced equipment to create precision silicon components used in semiconductor tools, following detailed specifications and contributing to quality and safety in a cleanroom environment.

You will build proficiency across multiple processes through hands-on training, support 12-hour shifts, and maintain accurate logs in ERP systems while upholding Silfex quality

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of experience operating equipment in a manufacturing, cleanroom, or controlled environment.
• Ability to work around hazardous chemicals and wear cleanroom PPE for long shifts (12 hours).
• Learn, follow work instructions, and operate in a compliant, safe manner.
• Basic computer skills to navigate manufacturing systems and logs.

Responsibilities

• Operate machines that support manufacturing and finishing processes.
• Learn and perform 5S workplace organization activities.
• Develop proficiency in 3–5 designated processes through training.
• Read and interpret work instructions, setup sheets and process specifications.
• Enter production and quality data into batch records and ERP system accurately.
