Job summary

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a Manufacturing Analyst or Principal Manufacturing Analyst in Linthicum, MD to support operations and MES/SAP systems. You will work on budget planning, process improvements, and cross‑functional collaboration with engineering and operations teams.

The role emphasizes data-driven decision making, documentation, training, and coordination across multiple departments to ensure timely project execution and adherence to SOPs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of experience in Manufacturing, Materials, MRP, or Production Control; Master’s degree with experience.
• Experience using SAP/ERP/MRP or other related systems.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance
• U.S. Citizenship is required

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update manufacturing documentation with operations, quality, test and IE.
• Provide MES/ERP training for SAP environment users.
• Respond to SharePoint/PowerApps requests and dashboards.
• Lead formal processes across the Industrial Engineering department.
• Serve as routing issue lead for the BWI site.
• Support floor and shop personnel as needed.
• Develop SAP/MES SME knowledge and support IE processes in SAP/MES.
• Assist IE with cell support activities including equipment procurement.
• Manage budgets for MTA projects, track budgets and report progress.
• Coordinate MTA meetings, prepare materials for reviews, monitor spending and milestones.
• Maintain records and enable cross‑department communication for MTA initiatives
