Job summary

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems seeks a 3rd Shift General Manufacturing Manager 2 in Linthicum, MD. You will supervise 20–25 represented employees and manage production, budgets, and process improvements in a PRFC cell.

You will lead cross-functional teams, ensure safety, deliver quality products on time, and drive cost efficiency while maintaining a strong focus on governance and SAP/MES transactions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field; 8+ years in PM/Manufacturing/Operations.
• Experience leading people across large organizations and driving improvements.
• Active U.S. government Secret Clearance with ability to obtain SAP.

Responsibilities

• Provide directions to employees using guidelines and policies.
• Direct manufacturing operations for on-time delivery within budget.
• Lead manufacturing teams: hiring, training, performance management, development.
• Drive employee efficiency and quality outcomes.
• Oversee area to ensure product quality and schedule adherence.
• Engage employees to maximize potential and accountability.
• Implement process improvements to reduce costs and improve quality.
• Perform SAP/MES transactions for operators and M&P.
