Job summary

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems seeks a Manufacturing Analyst (or Principal Manufacturing Analyst) in Linthicum, MD to support manufacturing operations. The role requires strong collaboration with engineering and operations, and experience with SAP/ERP and MES systems, budgeting, and reporting.

You will manage process improvements, maintain documentation, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure on‑time project execution, while growing toward SAP/MES SME responsibilities. U.S.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Manufacturing, Materials, MRP, or Production Control with related work experience.
• Experience using SAP/ERP/MRP or similar systems.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update key manufacturing support documentation in consultation with Manufacturing, Quality, Test, and IE.
• Support MES/ERP training for groups to perform SAP-related functions.
• Interacts with SharePoint/PowerApps request system dashboard.
• Lead formal processes across the IE department per SOPs.
• Serve as point person for routing issues at the BWI site.
• Support the floor and shop personnel.
• Learn and grow into an SAP/MES System SME for IE.
• Assist IE to complete cell support activities, including equipment ordering procurement.
• Manage budget for Manufacturing Technical Activity (MTA) projects, with entry of new projects, tracking, and reporting.
• Coordinate MTA-related meetings, prepare materials for reviews, monitor spending, and ensure milestones.
• Maintain up-to-date records, review plan sheets and reporting tools, and facilitate cross-department communication for MTA initiatives.
