Job summary

Northrop Grumman Corp. is seeking a General Manufacturing Manager 2 for Linthicum, MD. You will supervise 20–25 represented employees in a PRFC cell, drive efficiency, manage budgets, and lead process improvements to improve affordability, quality, and schedule.

A bachelor’s degree with 8+ years or a master’s with 6+ years in related fields is required, plus active clearance. You will collaborate across disciplines, manage SAP/MES transactions, and mentor employees to reach their highest

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor's degree with 8+ years in project/program management, manufacturing, or related field; Master’s with 6+ years acceptable.
• May consider 12+ years of experience in lieu of degree.
• Experience leading people across large organizations.
• Experience with cost, schedule, project leadership and/or process improvement.
• Ability to liaison across disciplines to solve complex problems.
• Strong problem solving and creative solution skills.
• Experience with data analysis and execution of continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise manufacturing operations to ensure efficient production and on-time delivery.
• Lead and develop manufacturing teams, including hiring, training, performance management, and succession planning.
• Drive productivity and efficiency; implement process improvements to reduce costs and improve quality and schedule.
• Oversee SAP/MES transactions and ensure accurate data across operator and M&P activities.
• Collaborate with multiple disciplines to resolve issues and mitigate risks.
