GE Appliances, a Haier company, is seeking a Senior Process Improvement Engineer in Decatur, AL. You will own equipment and tooling in the production area, lead preventative maintenance, and work with maintenance to maximize uptime.

Formación

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education/experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering/Operations/Quality support roles or equivalent military experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with interpersonal skills.
• Advanced computer skills - high proficiency in Microsoft products.
• Strong project management with high analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Minimum 5 years in high-volume manufacturing environment in an Engineering role or equivalent.

Responsabilidades

• Own all equipment and tooling in the production area, from Engineering sign-off and forward.
• Serve as the primary troubleshooting resource for the process in the plant; consult with maintenance staff on repairs.
• Monitor and improve Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE) in the area.
• Recommend equipment and tooling; sign-off on new purchases where applicable.
• Lead Preventative Maintenance plans to maximize uptime and maintain standards.
• Own Total Preventive Maintenance activities for the area.
• Collaborate with Maintenance Business Leader on priorities and action items.
• Provide feedback on equipment specifications based on GE Appliances standards.
