GE Appliances, a Haier company, seeks a Manager, Manufacturing Operations in the USA (Decatur, AL) to lead a production area and drive safety, quality, delivery and cost performance. You will coach Team Leaders and hourly staff, manage staffing, and ensure standardized work and lean practices across the value stream.

The role requires a strong track record in manufacturing leadership with a focus on continuous improvement, problem solving, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in a manufacturing environment (5+ years).
• Six Sigma certification preferred; deep knowledge of Lean, DMAIC, and improvement methodologies.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to influence across teams.
• Experience with multi-functional project delivery and Kaizen/continuous improvement.

Responsabilités

• Provide day-to-day leadership for a manufacturing team in a production area.
• Drive safety, quality, delivery, and cost metrics; coach Team Leaders and hourly staff.
• Oversee staffing, scheduling, and staffing levels to ensure productivity.
• Implement standardized work and Lean tools; monitor 5S adherence.
• Lead escalation processes and problem solving to improve line performance.
• Lead kaizen events and ensure countermeasures are implemented.
