Job summary

GE Appliances, a Haier company, Camden, SC, seeks a Senior Process Improvement Engineer to drive operational excellence in a high-volume production area. You’ll own equipment performance, lead continuous improvement initiatives and ensure safety, quality, delivery and cost targets are met.

You will partner with maintenance, engineering, and operations to optimize processes and champion a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in Manufacturing Engineering, Operations or Quality support.
• Flexibility for extended shifts and weekend work.

Responsibilities

• Own and optimize equipment and tooling in the assigned production area.
• Lead root cause analysis and Kaizen events to reduce waste and variation.
• Develop TPM and PM plans to maximize uptime and reduce unplanned downtime.
• Champion Lean principles and standard work across the organization.
• Represent manufacturing during new product launches and coordinate equipment qualification.
