Job summary

Celestica is seeking a Senior Lead Engineer, Manufacturing Process to design, develop, deploy and optimize manufacturing processes for customer products in a high-midelity EMS environment. The role focuses on cost, quality, and delivery performance across back-end assembly and box-build operations.

The candidate should have 4–6 years of experience in EMS manufacturing, with a bachelor’s degree and proven expertise in DFA/DFM, PFMEA, ECO/ECN, and NPI lifecycles. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Process Engineering experience in EMS (back-end electro-mechanical assembly, system integration, and box build).
• Proven track record designing and implementing final assembly processes for power inverter modules, power converters, and high-voltage enclosures.

Responsibilities

• Understand and implement the customer roadmap and related process development projects.
• Lead development and release of full manufacturing processes for new customer products.
• Develop costed, optimized feedback using DFX tools to reduce manufacturing cost and improve quality.
• Plan and lead DfA/DFM inputs to product design teams for efficient assembly.
