Job summary

Celestica is seeking a senior engineering professional to lead manufacturing support, project planning, and test development across multiple product lines. You will direct maintenance, equipment readiness, and supplier coordination while driving yield improvements and process optimization.

The role requires extensive experience in design for systems/PCBs, SPC, and cross-functional leadership to deliver on customer requirements and strategic goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Eight plus years of experience in engineering/manufacturing environments.
• Strong knowledge of design engineering for systems and PCBs and related subassemblies.
• Experience with SPC methods and statistical analysis.
• Ability to lead multiple projects and coordinate cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of IT platforms, database design and programming languages.

Responsibilities

• Directs activities to support manufacturing equipment uptime and preventative maintenance.
• Schedules technician training, project planning, and equipment installation.
• Manages customer test processes, incorporating engineering changes and yield improvements.
• Leads groups of engineers across related domains (Quality, Manufacturing, Supplier).
• Tracks project execution and communicates progress to upper management.
• Provides technical input to meet project goals and customer requirements.
• Addresses high-priority customer/manufacturing issues and conducts product analyses.
