Blue Origin is seeking an Avionics Cable Harness Design Engineer in Florida to support development and operations of New Glenn. You will design electrical harnesses for power distribution and RF communication, ensuring safe human spaceflight.

The ideal candidate has at least a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and 7+ years in the aerospace industry, with proficiency in Creo. Join us to create innovative solutions in space vehicle design and operations.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience designing Wire Harnesses for the Aerospace industry.
• Strong electrical/mechanical design and integration skills using 3-D CAD software.
• Understanding and application of wire derating analysis.

Responsibilities

• Design of electrical harnesses for various spaceflight systems.
• Create 3D routed harness data files utilizing Creo.
• Support the assembly and testing of cables and harnesses.
