Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb in Summit West, NJ, US is seeking a Senior Manager, Manufacturing to oversee Cell Therapy manufacturing operations on a 24/7 schedule and to uphold a culture of safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.

You will lead Manufacturing Managers and Work Centered Teams, drive training, CAPAs, and deviations, and manage resources, budgets, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver timely, compliant production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of manufacturing experience with 5+ years of leadership.
• Green Belt certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure cGMPs, SOPs, WIs, batch records, safety expectations and ALCOA+ in manufacturing.
• Maintain process expertise, support MRB data collection, and regulatory knowledge.
• Hire talent aligned with requirements, budget and BMS values.
• Set priorities, monitor performance, and report metrics in Tier meetings.
• Maintain 100% on-time training; qualify personnel before GMP tasks.
• Build high-performing teams via recruiting, onboarding and coaching.
• Lead deviation troubleshooting and quality record ownership; CAPA.
• Participate in Change Controls and projects; ensure timely implementation.
• Control expenses including overtime, supplies, and travel.
• Model leadership with Gemba walks, visual management, coaching, cross-functional collaboration.
