Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb is seeking a Senior Manager, Cell Therapy Manufacturing to lead clinical and commercial CAR-T production at the Devens, MA facility. The role oversees 24/7 operations, ensuring cGMP compliance, with a focus on safety and product quality.

The position includes a Night Shift (4 x 10) schedule with holidays and weekends, and responsibilities spanning team leadership, performance reviews, and cross-functional collaboration with Quality, Supply Chain, MS&T, EHS and Finance.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Experience leading manufacturing teams in a regulated setting.
• Familiarity with CAR-T manufacturing or similar biologics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Hiring, mentoring and developing exceptional people.
• Conducting performance reviews and identifying opportunities for career growth for supervisors and associates.
• Championing a culture of teamwork and communication across the organization.
• Ensuring proper training for CAR-T GMP manufacturing in a multi-product facility.
• Building cross-functional relationships with Quality, Supply Chain, MS&T, EHS and F&E.
• Ensuring safety and compliance with company procedures and cGMP requirements.
• Plan and execute commercial and clinical operations for a licensed CAR-T product at the Devens facility.
• Establish department goals, track KPIs, and drive continuous improvement via lean initiatives.
