Job summary

RiseMe in Baytown, TX is seeking a Manufacturing HSE Engineer to lead the development and continuous improvement of health, safety, and environmental systems across the site. You will apply engineering analysis, regulatory compliance, and risk management to reduce occupational risk while supporting capital projects and startup activities.

You will collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, and site leadership, conduct risk assessments, lead incident investigations, and drive training

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field.
• 5+ years in HSE/safety engineering in heavy manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve site HSE programs and controls to reduce risk.
• Lead risk assessments of equipment, processes, and activities.
• Investigate injuries, incidents, and near-misses with root-cause analyses.
• Ensure machine guarding and LOTO controls are implemented.
• Participate in or lead MOC, PSSR, and capital project safety reviews.
