Job summary

Rise Baking Company seeks an experienced Environmental Health & Safety leader to develop and execute the company’s EHS strategy across all manufacturing sites. You will drive regulatory compliance, minimize risk, and foster a proactive safety and environmental culture while enabling business growth and productivity.

Collaborating with Operations, site EHS managers, Engineering, HR, Legal and FSQ, you will lead governance, manage PSM, and implement risk management programs, audits, and training

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental health & safety or related field; or equivalent work experience.
• CSP or CHCM certifications preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in safety training, program creation and implementation, and hazard assessment in a large manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the company’s EHS strategy across all manufacturing sites; ensure regulatory compliance and minimize risk.
• Lead EHS governance, audits, and corrective actions; standardize procedures across sites.
• Oversee air, water, and waste programs; manage air permits and wastewater compliance; drive emissions reductions.
• Lead Process Safety Management (PSM/RMP) activities including PHAs/HAZOPs and MOC.
• Partner with Operations, FSQ, HR, Legal, and Engineering to align EHS with business objectives.
• Drive a zero-incident culture through education, incident prevention, and safety awareness.
