Job summary

Entegris is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead the Pads Manufacturing Engineering team in Aurora, IL. This onsite role demands strategic direction, cross-functional partnership, and accountability for manufacturing value streams and continuous improvements.

The role emphasizes overseeing capital projects, NPI support, EH&S adherence, and site leadership collaboration, with a focus on delivering measurable performance gains and coaching future leaders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Polymer, or Industrial Engineering.
• 10+ years of engineering experience in manufacturing or semiconductor/polymer processing.
• 5+ years in a management or senior leadership role leading multi-phase projects.
• Strategic planning, capital project leadership, and budget ownership experience.
• Strong knowledge of statistics, SPC/SQC, process control, and 8D methodology (Green Belt minimum; Black Belt preferred).
• Experience developing metrics, setting strategic direction, and leading teams to stretch goals.

Responsibilities

• Develop and drive the Manufacturing Engineering roadmap and multi-year strategy for the Pads product line.
• Provide direct leadership over the Manufacturing Engineering team and cross-functional collaboration.
• Drive improvements in OEE, throughput, quality, cost, and capacity.
• Own capital project planning, budgeting, ROI justification, and cross-functional execution.
• Lead root-cause investigations and customer communications; apply data analytics for corrective actions.
• Support NPI processes and site quality through SPC/trend reviews and audits.
