Job summary

Entegris, Inc. is seeking an Operations Manager to join the CMP Pads Manufacturing team at the Aurora, Illinois facility.

This leader will oversee daily manufacturing operations and provide clear direction, coaching, and accountability to deliver safe, high-quality products on time to the customer base. The role emphasizes continuous improvement, accountability, and operational maturity, coordinating people, materials, equipment, and workflow, with 24/5 operations on weekdays and weekend

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in operations, engineering, or related field.
10+ years of operational experience with increasing responsibility.
5+ years in a management or senior leadership role.
Strong leadership, planning, organization and communication skills.
Lean and/or Six Sigma knowledge and continuous improvement methods.
Experience with ERP/MRP systems (SAP preferred).

Responsibilities

Lead daily production activities for multiple shifts, establishing priorities and workflow.
Ensure safety, quality, delivery, throughput, cost, and plant cleanliness.
Translate strategies into operating objectives and metrics.
Collaborate with EHS and site leadership to strengthen safety culture.
Monitor schedule attainment, output, machine efficiency, and material readiness.
Coordinate production requirements with planning, maintenance, engineering and quality.
Develop training programs for equipment and processes; cross-train when needed.
Maintain accurate work instructions and enforce standards.
Improve material flow and visual performance management.
Investigate process issues using data and structured problem solving.
Partner with New Product Introduction teams to transfer products to high-volume manufacturing.
Coach the team and drive accountability and teamwork.
Manage budget planning, cost control, and inventory management.
Provide off-shift and on-site support as needed.
