Job summary

Entegris, Inc. in Aurora, IL seeks a Sr. Manager of Manufacturing Engineering for the Pads product line. This onsite role leads a Manufacturing Engineering team and partners across Operations, Maintenance, Quality, Materials, and Customer Quality Engineering.

The role focuses on setting long-term roadmaps, driving improvements in OEE, throughput, and quality, and overseeing capital projects and NPI processes. Strong leadership, strategic planning, and collaboration skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of engineering experience, including manufacturing or semiconductor/polymer processing.
• 5+ years in a management or senior leadership role with multi-phase projects.
• Experience with strategic planning, capital project leadership, and budget ownership.
• Strong knowledge in statistics, SPC/SQC, process control, and 8D; Six Sigma Green Belt required; Black Belt preferred.
• Strong metrics development, strategic direction, and cross-functional leadership.
• Excellent oral and written communication; able to engage at all organization levels and with customers/suppliers.
• Willingness to travel up to 5% and work nonstandard hours as needed.
• Knowledge of MS Office; JMP preferred; SAP and LIMS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and drive the Manufacturing Engineering roadmap and multi-year plan for the Pads product line.
• Provide direct leadership over the Manufacturing Engineering team and cross-functional partners.
• Develop and enforce a culture of measurable improvements in OEE, throughput, quality, cost, and capacity.
• Build organizational capability through talent development, coaching, and succession planning.
• Own capital project planning/execution, including budget, ROI, and cross-functional delivery.
• Lead root-cause investigations and ensure effective corrective actions; apply statistics to reduce variation.
• Support NPI processes and product commercialization; manage site quality via SPC/trend reviews and audits.
• Establish strong cross-functional relationships to ensure on-time execution of business plans.
