Job summary

Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems in Moorestown, NJ seeks a Manufacturing / Industrial Engineer to drive lean improvements and optimize production flows in support of defense missions.

You will analyze cycle times, ergonomics, and safety, lead projects across facilities, and develop cost justifications while collaborating with engineering and operations teams to achieve operational excellence. A level 3 employee typically has 3+ years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing / Mechanical / Industrial Engineering or equivalent related experience.
• Demonstrates / Possesses skills in both project management as well as technical problem solving.
• Proficient in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.) and CAD software.

Responsibilities

• Support Moorestown Manufacturing Operations with performance & efficiency reporting, cycle time reduction, ergonomics, Environmental Safety & Health considerations.
• Improve product flow and assembly methods using Lean and Six Sigma principles.
• Lead/support projects across manufacturing areas including facility upgrades, new building outfitting, crane implementations, and equipment installs.
• Support Manufacturing Engineering evaluations for space requirements, factory layouts, capital equipment, capacity, and related initiatives.
• Perform cost evaluations and prepare business cases/need justifications.
• Support proposal development / White Paper preparations for new business development.
• Provide Solumina/MES system and database support as required.
