Lockheed Martin Corporation is seeking an experienced manufacturing/industrial engineer to analyze and optimize production workflows at our facilities. The role focuses on maximizing utilization of facilities and personnel, and may involve safety training and accident prevention programs.

You will conduct cost/control studies and implement facility modifications based on findings. A bachelor's in a related field with 5+ years of experience and strong Excel skills are required.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience/education.
• 5+ years of related professional experience.
• Experience with lean manufacturing techniques and Kaizen principles.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel including pivot tables and formulas.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsabilidades

• Analyzes and designs sequence of operations and work flow to improve efficiencies in plant and production facilities and equipment layouts; and establishes methods for maximum utilization of production facilities and personnel.
• May establish or assist in establishing accident prevention measures and may manage training programs for personnel concerning all phases of production operations.
• Conducts studies pertaining to cost control, cost reduction, inventory control, and production record systems.
• On the basis of these studies, develops and implements plans and programs for facility modifications and revisions to operating methods.
