Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems in Moorestown, NJ is seeking a Manufacturing Manager to lead day-to-day assembly and test operations. You will supervise manufacturing supervisors and a represented workforce of 50–100 technicians, delivering products for the MDCS, Radar & Sensor Systems, and Mission Systems and Weapons segments.

The role requires Lean manufacturing expertise, data-driven decision making, and the ability to manage transitions from design to production.

Qualifications

• Appropriate degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education, with professional experience and specialized training commensurate with assignment.
• Prior leadership experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge / practical experience with Lean Manufacturing / Flow.
• Candidate must be able to obtain an Interim Secret DoD clearance prior to starting this position. Obtaining a clearance requires US citizenship.

Responsibilities

• The candidate selected for this position will manage manufacturing supervisors and an represented workforce of assembly & test technicians (anticipated span of control is between 50-100 employees).
• Operate assigned workcenters to deliver product free of defect in support of program cost and schedule demands.
• Effectively manage changes as many projects transition from design/development into production for the first time.
• Analyze large amounts of data to help manage your workforce.
