Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Greenville, SC seeks an Industrial Engineer Senior - Level 3 to drive operational excellence across production facilities. You will analyze workflows, enhance processes, and deliver efficiency improvements that reduce costs and increase safety.

You will lead cross-functional teams and develop lean practices to sustain gains, with responsibilities spanning design, cost control, and scheduling to meet monthly delivery targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in Industrial Engineering (or a related discipline) and/or 3 years of professional experience as an Industrial Engineer or in support of a manufacturing facility.
• Experience in Microsoft Excel including advanced formulas and Pivot Tables

Responsibilities

• Analyze and design workflows, operation sequences, equipment layouts, and labor utilization to maximize productivity and eliminate inefficiencies.
• Support cost-control initiatives by conducting detailed studies and recommending actionable solutions.
• Create and maintain schedule plans to meet monthly customer delivery targets.
• Lead cross-functional continuous-improvement teams, partnering with Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, Planning, Quality, Safety, Facilities, and other departments.
• Develop and implement lean-manufacturing practices to sustain long-term operational gains.
