Job summary

Daikin Applied Americas Inc is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer III in Faribault, MN to drive process improvements and support NPI efforts. You will partner with quality, supply chain, and maintenance to streamline production, implement lean initiatives, and mentor newer engineers.

You will define labor standards, analyze operational data, and help optimize layouts, workflows, and equipment purchases to boost efficiency and safety across the factory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level engineering degree or equivalent technical field required.
• 5+ years related experience in manufacturing engineering roles.
• Experience with Lean manufacturing, kaizen events, and work measurement techniques.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline production and lead continuous improvement/cost-reduction events.
• Mentor less experienced engineers and support larger projects.
• Lead organizational initiatives and train teams on projects.
• Analyze work samples, establish labor standards, and estimate production times and costs.
