Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role in heavy/industrial manufacturing.
• Experience developing fixtures & jigs and familiarity with fabrication, welding & assembly processes.
• Experience leading CAPEX projects, budgeting, and delivering turnkey equipment to operations.
• Experience with ERP systems and Lean processes such as Standardized Work Instructions, 5S, and Kaizen.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate production activities via data analysis to identify productivity, material flow, safety, quality, and cost improvements.
• Lead and prioritize actions, establish schedules, and implement cost-saving measures.
• Drive Lean elements like Standardized Work, Value Stream Mapping, and Kaizen events.
• Lead labor estimation and develop cost models; conduct time studies and adjust labor estimates.
