Qualifications

• BS/MS in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or engineering required or preferred.
• LEAN/Six Sigma Black Belt certification is a plus.
• Experience developing fixtures and jigs for manufacturing environments.
• 10+ years in industrial/manufacturing engineering roles.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate production tasks and drawings to meet CTF metrics and create tools and gauges.
• Lead implementation of Lean elements (Standardized Work, VSM, Kaizen/5S).
• Conduct time studies; adjust labor estimates for cost accuracy.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Production, and Estimating to drive efficiencies.
• Coordinate with design engineering to improve manufacturability and DFMs.
• Document cost savings and track process improvements against targets.
• Plan facility/work cell layouts to optimize material and product flow.
• Develop tools, fixtures, and equipment to boost labor efficiency.
