Job summary

Technology Service Corporation in Huntsville, AL seeks a Sr. Manufacturing Engineer to optimize production of high‑reliability electronics for DoD programs. You will analyze processes, implement new equipment, and lead improvements across assembly and test.

You’ll collaborate with design, quality, and operations teams to reduce bottlenecks, ensure IPC/AS9100 compliance, and mentor engineers on the shop floor in a fast-paced aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering program required.
• 8+ years in DoD manufacturing or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing assembly procedures.
• Lead and train staff on new equipment.
• Ensure safety, quality, cost, schedule, and programmatic requirements are met.
• Conduct process audits for IPC/AS9100 compliance.
• Provide shop floor support and develop manufacturing plans.
• Translate drawings into actionable work instructions.
• Apply DFM/DFA to optimize design and manufacturing.
