FALCATA is seeking a Sr. Manufacturing Engineer in Huntsville, AL to analyze and optimize production of advanced radar, antenna and electronics systems. You’ll collaborate across teams to eliminate bottlenecks, improve efficiency and ensure quality in a fast-paced, DoD-focused environment.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (ABET-accredited) is required and 8+ years of relevant experience (or 6+ with MS, 3+ with PhD).
• Experience in military/DoD manufacturing, mechanical assemblies or circuit card assemblies and integration.
• Familiar with IPC, J-STD, MIL and DoD standards and AS9100 certifications.
• Experience developing and implementing maintenance programs and training.

Aufgaben

• Assist in developing and implementing assembly procedures.
• Introduce and train employees on new equipment.
• Lead and ensure safety, quality, cost, schedule, technical and programmatic requirements; conduct process audits and ensure compliance with standards.
• Provide shop floor support, develop manufacturing plans, tooling requirements and manage engineering changes.
• Translate engineering intent into work instructions for high-quality hardware.
• Apply DFM and DFA to optimize design-for-manufacture and assembly.
