Leidos Defense Systems Electronics Manufacturing in Huntsville, Alabama seeks an Electronics Process Engineering Manager to lead and grow the PCBA manufacturing and conformal coating processes across the production line. You will guide process development, implement new manufacturing methods, and drive continuous improvement to achieve higher yields and faster throughput.

Qualifications

BS degree with 12–15 years of experience (MS with 10–13 years also acceptable).
Eligible to obtain/maintain Secret Clearance.
Experience in PCBA manufacturing and process development.
Resident of Huntsville, AL or willing to relocate.

Responsibilities

Lead/manufacturing engineering team for PCBA assembly and conformal coating processes.
Drive CI projects to improve yield, throughput, and quality.
Monitor KPIs (yield, first-pass yield, cycle time, scrap) and drive proactive changes.
Perform DFM/DFA reviews for new products and design changes.
Develop and implement new manufacturing processes, work instructions, and control plans.
Identify and justify capital equipment for relevant processes.
Support root cause analysis and disposition of nonconformances.
Collaborate with quality, production control, and design to meet schedules.
