Job summary

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) and 5+ years of relevant experience.
• 2+ years of Electronics Manufacturing experience.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Advance knowledge of ANSI J-STD-001 Class 3 soldering specs and defect prevention.
• Translate engineering design to formal manufacturing process documentation.
• Program manufacturing automation equipment and software.
• Disposition discrepant hardware.
• Lead root cause investigations and corrective actions.
• Participate in Lean process improvements and cost reductions.
• Support manufacturing process development and optimization.
• Conduct safety and ergonomic assessments.
• Coordinate with senior personnel across organizations and suppliers.
• Develop tooling to reduce costs and defects.
