Job summary

RTX is hiring for an Onsite Operations Engineer in Andover, MA. The role focuses on supporting the Circuit Card Assembly Factory's conformal coating processes across automated and programmable equipment, advancing process improvements, and providing operator support on multiple coating types.

The position requires a STEM degree with at least two years of relevant experience and the ability to obtain a DoD clearance.

Qualifications

• STEM degree with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
• Onsite role with potential for shift-based pay differentials.

Responsibilities

• Create and oversee projects using risk management techniques.
• Translate engineering design requirements into manufacturing process docs.
• Program computers and machines for manufacturing automation.
• Dispostion discrepant production hardware and lead root-cause investigations.
• Support process improvements, lean initiatives, and cost reduction.
• Develop manufacturing processes and conduct safety/ergonomic assessments.
• Coordinate with senior personnel and suppliers on technical matters.
