Job summary

RTX is seeking a manufacturing-focused professional to translate engineering requirements into formal manufacturing process documentation and to evaluate hardware for repair and disposition. The role leads corrective action investigations and supports process improvements across the organization, including development and maintenance of manufacturing processes for field return material.

Candidates should have a STEM degree and manufacturing experience, plus the ability to obtain a US security

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) and a minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience.
• 1 year of manufacturing experience.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance prior to the start date. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Translate engineering design requirements, repairs, and upgrades into formal manufacturing process documentation.
• Evaluate incoming hardware for repair and disposition discrepant hardware.
• Lead corrective action investigations to prevent recurrence.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives.
• Manufacturing process development and maintenance for field return material.
• Coordinate technical matters across different organizations and/or suppliers.
