Job summary

TE Connectivity Ltd. is seeking a Senior Manager – Solar to lead a seasoned sales team in utility-scale solar across TE Energy. You will shape commercial strategy, build executive relationships with IPPs and developers, and drive growth across projects from development through commissioning.

The role combines strategic account leadership with technical solution selling, cross-functional execution, and a strong focus on market expansion and profitability. Travel up to 50% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related field.
• 12+ years’ experience with 5+ years in utility-scale solar or related market.
• Experience developing business with project owners, IPPs, developers, EPCs, or partners.
• Working knowledge of engineering design, procurement, and construction practices.
• Strong understanding of products, technologies, and applications in solar.
• Ability to build executive relationships and influence long sales cycles.
• Strong analytical, financial, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% to customer sites and events.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a team of senior territory sales managers.
• Develop and execute a market-penetration strategy for utility-scale solar.
• Identify, qualify, and advance strategic projects to expand pipeline and revenue.
• Assess sales, marketing, partnership, and channel strategies to accelerate growth.
• Maintain disciplined forecasts, opportunity reviews, and financial reporting.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to align TE solutions with customer needs.
