Job summary

Sorren is seeking a Senior Manager to lead financial due diligence and Quality of Earnings engagements for buy-side, sell-side, lender, and other transaction advisory clients. You will manage engagement execution, supervise team members, and communicate key issues to clients and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have substantial TAS experience, strong accounting judgment, and advanced financial analysis skills, with proven ability to guide multiple workstreams and deliver actionable

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field; CPA preferred.
• 7+ years of relevant experience in financial due diligence, Quality of Earnings, or transaction advisory work.
• 2+ years of experience supervising engagement teams and managing project execution.
• Strong GAAP knowledge, normalized EBITDA adjustments, working capital concepts.
• Excellent Excel skills and financial modeling abilities.
• Strong communication skills and ability to present findings to clients and stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Experience with mid-market transactions and private equity involvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day execution of financial due diligence and Quality of Earnings engagements.
• Manage multiple concurrent engagements including scope, staffing, timelines, and budgets.
• Review analyses, workpapers, and deliverables for accuracy and consistency.
• Identify engagement risks and escalate to directors/partners as needed.
• Develop analyses to support transaction evaluation and closing processes.
• Present findings clearly to clients, management, lenders, and sponsors.
• Coach and develop junior team members and promote best practices.
