Job summary

New Value Solutions seeks an experienced Manager, Technical Services to lead a team delivering expert support for protection relays and disturbance recorders. You will guide engineering staff, shape service strategy, and act as a senior technical resource for customers, Sales, and Product Development.

The role requires deep power-system protection knowledge, leadership experience, and a proven ability to communicate complex concepts to customers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• Approximately 15 years with numerical protective relays and disturbance/fault recorders.
• Proven leadership of engineering teams and customer-facing delivery.
• Deep knowledge of electric power-system protection, integration and automation.
• Experience with EMTP, load-flow and short-circuit studies.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Technical Services Engineers.
• Set strategic direction and ensure high-quality customer support.
• Provide technical consultations, product demonstrations, and training.
• Serve as senior technical contact for escalations and complex issues.
• Support installation, commissioning, configuration, and operation of protection and automation products.
• Prepare technical materials, proposals, and product comparisons.
• Support Sales and business development with technical expertise.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Engineering, and Product Development.
• Represent the company at conferences and customer meetings.
• Contribute to manuals, datasheets, and application notes.
• Drive continuous improvement in service delivery.
